Iran Claims US Carrier Abraham Lincoln Fled Following Massive Drone Attack!
Iran Claims Drone Strike on US Aircraft Carrier USS Abraham Lincoln
Iran has claimed that its drones successfully struck the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
A spokesperson for Iran's military command, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command, stated that the US warship was positioned in the Sea of Oman, approximately 340 kilometers from Iran’s maritime border, to assist in controlling the Strait of Hormuz.
He claimed that the aircraft carrier was hit during a drone attack launched by the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) Navy.
Iran further stated that following the attack, the US carrier and its accompanying guided-missile destroyers quickly retreated and are currently positioned about 1,000 kilometers away from the incident site.
This follows a report from the IRGC a few days prior, stating that the US carrier had been targeted by four ballistic missiles.
Iranian military authorities added that the armed forces' counter-strikes against enemies have entered a new phase, and a rigorous response will be given to any attackers on both land and sea.
